With a core focus on helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and make a better world, the team at Bupa were on the search to take audiences on a journey to discover how Bupa is leading the industry to become more sustainable.
Developed in partnership with Hurricane Media, we worked with the Bupa team to develop the overarching campaign strategy, video production and Paid Media activation across the platforms, including YouTube, with the core aim to showcase Bupa’s new global sustainability strategy.
A four-part docu-series, Mission: Sustainable Health focused on placing Bupa at the heart of the conversation around sustainability in healthcare. Built around engaging and informative features, to capture audience attention on YouTube, Instagram and and LinkedIn with ‘jargon-free’ messaging.
The Hurricane Media team cast Malaika Vaz, wildlife film-maker and Nat Geo explorer, as the lead narrator and presenter of the series. Filming across the UK, Spain and Australia, featuring key members of the Bupa team, along with influential voices.
Developing a media strategy, we worked with the team to specifically design the creative to maximise results from on-platform algorithms, including increasing views, driving subscriptions and increasing website traffic.
With a collection of short-form teasers, to full episodes and playlists for deep-dive viewers, this worked cohesively alongside organic social posts to achieve Bupa’s campaign KPIs.
Since its initial activation, the Mission: Sustainable Health campaign has generated:
3.2 million combined views to date, exceeding all targets.
58% on average watched to the end of the film, above the average YouTube benchmark of 40%
Cost per view of £0.01, confirming the efficacy of both targeting and content.
